It sounds like they’re kind of disagreeing about the word choice, but not necessarily the overall message. Unless I’m understanding it incorrectly, Brene Brown says you can’t be TOO authentic because if you’re being too ‘authentic’ you’re actually into an entirely different trait – such as not having proper boundaries. I really enjoy the writing of both of these individuals and that they can have enlightening discussions about their work.
