The title has absolutely nothing to do with this post, but I’m sitting at work and just felt my hair and I think something has gone horribly awry. I had never used dry shampoo before this morning and I was so excited that I think I may have overdone it a little. My first indication was that I had to evacuate the bathroom because the dry shampoo fumes were making me dizzy.
Anyway, onto a recap of the week!
- I went to Hopleaf with coworkers on Monday night and it was ah-mazing. Seriously. I had the CB&J sandwich, which was a little piece of heaven. I intend to go back to this restaurant as often as possible.
- I went to trivia again. Since my teammates are trivia all-stars, we got 2nd place and that meant we were awarded with a $25 discount from our tab. I figure that pretty much makes me a trivia professional, right?! For now, I’ll keep my day job.
- I continued reading the funniest book ever written. (Well, if it’s not the funniest book ever written, it’s at least close.)
- I enjoyed the sunshine with our little Monster. We even hung out on our deck without coats on! Well, I did… the Monster only wears coats if it’s raining.
- I got new eye shadow in the mail! I choose the Naked Palette by Urban Decay (from Sephora). I can’t wait to use every single shade, but probably not at once, because then I would look like a lady-of-the-night. Except a boring one with a lot of brown eye shadow.
I’ll leave you with this song… because I can’t listen to it without thinking of college and I’m also obsessed with this scene in The Proposal, which is totally relevant.
