I’m just going to leave the link to this post right here, because I wrote it almost two years ago and it’s still more applicable than ever, unfortunately.
We need to fix this because mamas shouldn’t need to fear bringing their babies to church, or anywhere else.
I’ll be snuggling my babes extra close today and avoiding as much of the news as possible, because my heart just can’t take it.

I don’t hate guns. I’m the daughter of a gun owner and I’m a really good shot (target shooting), but owning guns shouldn’t be a right. It should be a privileged for responsible, law abiding, background-checked citizens. I’m afraid it’s never going to change 🙁 Certainly not with this administration.
Sigh. I know. And it didn’t change with the last administration either! Or the one before that…. it’s all so disappointing.
