IT’S FRIDAY! But I’m sure you knew that already. This week had a lot of goodness in it. It snowed again yesterday so we have beautiful, fluffy snow covering our city once again. I must admit, I’m a little tired of this cold white stuff, but it is pretty. But enough of the weather report, other stuff from this week:
(This Week) I Kept Myself Busy By
- … attending church group (x2!)
- … volunteering at the tax site for a few hours.
- … getting bendy at yoga class.
- … spending time with wonderful friends who came over bearing food and wine or who hosted me (and Clara) for play dates.
- … watching The Bachelor with girlfriends – we were in shock when Becca stayed after that awkward conversation!
- … shoveling the (new) snow off our sidewalk and stairs. When will it stop?!
(This Week) I’ve Learned:
- New York would be french fries. (here)
- True love exists. (here)
- So much about photography. (here)
- I’m not the only one who struggles with ended friendships. “I think I’m so bad at letting friendships go — either suddenly or gradually — because it feels injurious to me to stop loving someone once I have started, like I’m cutting off a limb, and yet blood will just keep flowing in that direction. ” (here)
- Not everyone sees this dress as white and gold. Do you? (here)
(This Week) Clara
- … is still teething. When will this end?!
- … can pull herself up from crawling to standing.
- … has been cooped up inside since it’s still cold and snowy.
- … bit my nipple quite a few times (but always let go quicky).
- … is nursing to sleep, but staying asleep when I transfer her to her crib.
(This Week) I Wrote:
- That SAHMs should be able to complain if they want to. (Tues)
- About why I believe some food belongs in the garbage. (Mon)
I hope your week was full of goodness and peace and optimism and productivity and fulfillment and that your weekend brings even more joy!
