I think this is my last week of denial that winter is here.

I know I’ve said this before, but I freakin’ love Thanksgiving. It’s my favorite holiday of the year and now it’s only six days away – yippeee! Let the search for stretchy pants begin! (I’m totally not joking about this, I consider eating to be serious business).

I was especially thankful for this last week. I had some great conversations with my church group ladies; the Husband and I spent some quality time with our friends who are expecting their first child in April (MORE BABIES!); I had the chance to spend some time with my mom (which doesn’t usually happen during the week); and the Husband and I celebrated Friendsgiving with four other couples. It was a super-successful Friendsgiving because everyone brought delicious foods and all the Thankgiving basics were covered and I ate a lot and it was magical.

But, now it’s time for the weekend and I am thrilled because the Husband and I have plans to see some of our favorite people and I could just not be happier about catching up with them!

So, onto Friday Fours!

The Husband and I got these ‘romantic’ fortunes on our anniversary. Nothing says ‘awwww’ like Panda Express telling you to see other people.

4 Favorite Things:

  • Handwritten letters.
  • Soup.
  • Cold and rainy fall days. (Keep that snow away until after Thanksgiving!)
  • Friendsgiving.

4 Confessions:

  • I just discovered ‘Divorce Court’, and let me tell you, it has become my new go-to show when I’m feeling stuck in my own life. These people are CRAZY and watching the show makes me instantly feel better about whatever situation I’m in.
  • I’m always embarrassed when I need to leave a urine sample and I’m dehydrated so my pee is basically gold. BUT, I was at my OB/GYN checkup and saw a bunch of samples in the lab and they were ALL bright yellow / gold, so I’m clearly not the only one not drinking enough water. Phew!
  • I am that person who will have a symptom, check the internet for said symptom, and be fully convinced she’s dying, even if the disease only affects .1% of the population.
  • Cranberry sauce is one of my favorite foods at Thanksgiving. I even love the kind straight from the can. Yummmmm!

Featured Blog:

Life With Amberly & Joe blogI’m beyond psyched to introduce you (again) to my featured blogger of this week! Amberly from Life With Amberly & Joe is one of the very sweetest and inspiring bloggers I’ve met, and I can’t get enough of her positive attitude towards life and marriage. This is a lady who is constantly looking to improve herself and motivating others to do the same, especially in the context of relationships. Her posts are genuine and honest and I can just relate to what she writes, you know?!

Now, I guess if I were you, I would start reading her blog at the love story between her and Joe, which is sickeningly sweet and made me think of re-writing my own love story (to include lies that will make it seem ‘awwwww’ worthy). And check out this post about weddings reminding us of our own promises (it’s one of the reasons I love going to weddings way more now than I ever did as a single lady)!

Oh, and don’t miss this post on why every marriage (and long term relationship!) needs a puppy. I mean, the pictures are adorable and every word of it is pure truth. (Not that I’m biased or anything….)

Anyway, I don’t know why you’re still here when you should be stalking following Amberly immediately! And these sites will make it easier to do that: Bloglovin’, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, & Pinterest). Happy Following!
