I have a lot of thoughts (don’t worry, they’re mostly not football-related) and no desire to put them into cohesive paragraphs, which is why bullet-points were made, right?!
Thoughts on thoughts on thoughts:
- I have a new blog design, thanks to Caitlin!
- Part of the new design means that you can easily find my posts on marriage, pregnancy, and motherhood via the nav links under the title of the blog. I hope you find these helpful!
- I also updated the program/site I’m hosting from, and unfortunately it has broken quite a few things on this blog. But it needed to happen because my blog has been possessed and started changing my URLs hours/days after I published posts and that wasn’t good for anyone. Sorry for all the 404 errors, people, and thanks for sticking with me!
- ARE YOU KIDDING ME CHICAGO BEARS?! Let’s all agree Cutler needs to go. I sincerely hope none of you wasted your time watching Sunday Night Football – how freakin’ embarrassing. I should have turned on the Food Network instead of watching the complete horror show. (Clearly I’m typing this out on Sunday night, as this game wraps up.)
- Clara has decided her bedtime is 9pm and not a second before that – so 9pm it will be for now! I’m not going to argue with a crying baby, that’s for sure.
- If you’re a mom (or mom to-be), please see my post yesterday – because I shared the best freakin’ app for moms and if you aren’t using it I strongly believe you’re missing out.
- It’s November double-digits (the 10th!) already and in my mind it’s September so at this rate, I won’t be buying holiday presents until after Valentine’s Day, when my mind is finally in the winter mindset. Although, maybe I can catch some awesome post-Christmas sales…
- The last few weekends have been so extremely busy that I’ve barely had time to catch my breath. Luckily, Mondays in our house are pretty laid-back so that’s my new ‘catch-up-on-life’ day.
- This weekend I spent my time: at a trivia night fundraiser for a Catholic School on the city’s southwest side; hosting friends for a game night and drinking quite a bit of beer; brunching with girlfriends; playing with Clara while Tim worked; watching football; blogging a bit; reading.
- I cannot get enough of 3-wick candles from Bath & Body Works. I may or may not have bought four candles recently… which will last me about four years at the rate I currently burn them.
