An ode to my mom friends.

I’m so freakin’ thankful for other moms.

An Ode To Mom Friends

Playdates are our FAVORITE. Clothing optional.

I’m thankful…

+ For moms who watch my toddler when I’m nursing my baby at the playground.
+ For moms who open the door for me so I can maneuver my huge double stroller into Starbucks.
+ For moms who make me food.
+ For moms who bring me coffee or offer it up right when I get to their house.
+ For moms who host playdates.
+ For moms who organize playdates.
+ For moms who give me clothes that their kids have outgrown.
+ For moms who give me advice on eating and sleeping and laundry and everything else.
+ For moms who listen.
+ For moms who just ‘get it’.
+ For moms who tell me about fun things going on in the city.
+ For moms who reach out.
+ For moms who feed my kids lunch and snacks when I don’t have any packed.
+ For moms who volunteer for activities my kids participate in.
+ For moms who share their own stories so I don’t feel like I’m the only one going crazy.
+ For moms who inspire me with how intentional they are in their parenting.
+ For moms who show up.

Among the bijillion other things that I know my mom friends do for their own kids every day, it touches my heart that these women still have the capacity to pour energy and love into me and my kids, too.

I don’t know what I would do without my community of moms. And the moms I know are such rockstars that I’m inspired to be better because of them.

Thanks x 1000000.
