I don’t usually like to post about ‘stuff’, because do I really need a reason shop more than I already do?
I think not.
Plus I know nothing about fashion, beauty, or most things feminine. I think I was born without the ‘girly’ gene sometimes.
But, sometimes things are just so pretty to look at that they need to be shared.
(And it’s a rainy, cold day in Chicago, so I could use some extra prettiness in my life!)
Well, let me just say, if I could wear this outfit every single day (without people noticing that I was wearing the same outfit every.single.day) I totally would:
Can you tell my style is pretty casual?!
And some other things I’m currently obsessed with (that I actually own, unlike the above $1,000 sweater):
// Coconut Oil. I use it as a moisturizer, makeup remover, hair strengthener/conditioner… pretty much everything. I swear by it. And, surprisingly, I’ve had really good luck in getting rid of zits. Weird, right? I just put it on my face as soon as I see a pimple forming and by the next day I notice much less redness. There is nothing that coconut oil can’t do, I’m convinced. (I’ve heard you can also cook with it, but I tend to stay out of the kitchen.)
// Moscow Mules. How did I just learn what these things are?! I will choose a Moscow Mule every-single-time.
// Theraflu. I really hope you never have to use this product. However, in the event that you find yourself facing a nasty cold, I highly recommend this stuff. The other week I was coming down with an awful head cold and was fairly convinced I was dying (the Husband claims that’s just me being dramatic but really, I was). Normally I don’t take medicine for colds (don’t ask me why, I’m pretty sure I can blame this on the way I was raised) but this particular time the Husband gave me medicine and voila, I was cured! And by ‘cured’ I mean I passed out immediately at 8pm and woke up feeling phenomenal. Miracle drug, right there.
Are there any things you currently can’t live without?! Pass them along, I’m always amazed at how much I still have yet to discover in the world of products.
Cheers to it being the day before Friday!
