Lately I’ve been really good (if I do say so myself!) at writing my posts ahead of time. Like I’ve been writing a post a whole day before I plan to publish it!
But sometimes I fail.
And last night was one of those nights. So let me just explain myself:
OK, maybe I don’t even need a post. This picture pretty much says it all.
Reasons I couldn’t write a super-interesting post today.
*Except this list can really be used on any given day*
- I was too busy reading (and sometimes even commenting on) your blog posts to write my own.
- I was drinking Malbec and it was delicious so I had more than one glass and then writing a blog post became a very distant concept and life priority.
- I was taking selfies. (See above picture).
- I was working on sponsor/swap options (coming soon! Eeeek I’m nervous about this one.).
- I was finding other blogs to sponsor.
- I was drinking out of my new Vino2Go cup so that I can write a review sometime this year.
- I was watching the Blackhawks play the Bruins in the Stanley Cup Finals.
- I was bothering the Husband.
- I was making dessert.
- I was eating dessert (it was delicious).
- I was taking a picture of my family.
I really need more photogenic subjects. And also to start using the fancy-pants camera I bought instead of my not-as-fancy iPhone ‘camera’.
- It was raining. No, it wasn’t raining in my apartment, it was raining outside. Somehow I still think this could be an acceptable excuse.
- I was tweeting.
- I was emailing.
- I was Facebook-ing.
- I was trash-talking (about hockey) via text message with my Bostonian cousin.
- The little Monster was barking and I couldn’t concentrate.
- I was working on a post for Friday even though it was Wednesday and I didn’t even have a post for Thursday yet (yes, I just named three days of the week in this sentence. Please try to stay with me here.)
… And those were just my excuses for last night! Given this very impressive list, it’s really amazing I actually have a blog at all.
Cheers for wonderful weekday nights!
