This week seemed to last forever, and I’m not quite sure why. I went to two yoga classes. Tim and I went on a date. I went to a volunteer orientation so I can file taxes for low income individuals/families. We cooked a lot of meals… yet even with all of that activity, it still seemed to take forever for Friday to come.
I’m going to go ahead and blame the weather. Yep, let’s go with that.
Here’s a quick wrap-up.
Check out those two front teeth!
(This Week) I’ve Learned:
- That I’m not speaking up or thinking enough about the violence taking place in Nigeria. (here)
- There is a restaurant out there with a 60,000 person waiting list. (here)
- My brain has been altered (by pregnancy and motherhood). “Perhaps, then, motherhood really is like secret space in a woman’s brain, waiting to be discovered.” (here)
(This Week) Clara
… turned 6 months old.
… is finally on a sleep schedule that I love.
… laid in the snow for the first time.
… has been hanging out with her dad a lot, because I got out of the house by myself more than I usually do.
… sits up by herself (for long periods of time) without falling over.
(This Week) I Wrote:
- About being intentional online. (Mon)
- A list of my favorite baby products that are worth spending the extra money on. (Tues)
- A quick tutorial on a better way to comment using Disqus. (Wed)
- On my love for ClassPass. (Thurs)
This weekend I’m looking forward to some relaxation, taking a tax-preparer certification course, spending time with my little family and friends, reading, and maybe even getting a workout or two in.
