What is one movie you are terrified to watch?
Easy question! I don’t watch scary movies. In fact, in high school my friends often made fun of me for hiding under covers during any remotely scary scene in a movie, no matter how cheesy.
The Husband brought over ‘Seven’ during our second date. I thought he was going to try to use the scary factor as an excuse to cuddle, since I had explicitly told him I don’t watch scary movies under any circumstance. It turns out he really did want to watch the entire movie! It was an awful night (in my opinion… he actually thought it was a great date) and it’s quite the miracle we’re still together (and married!).
What is one TV show you have always wanted to get into but haven’t yet?
Downton Abbey. And I’m reading ‘Game of Thrones’ but I think I may also watch the TV show since I like it so much. I only watch a few hours of TV a week so a new show is a big commitment for me! Currently I only have time for such ‘gems’ as Millionaire Matchmaker. …. don’t judge me!
What is one daring activity on your bucket list?
Motherhood! I think women (and guys) who decide to be parents are super brave.
Would you ever travel alone?
In my previous life I was a consultant so I traveled away from Chicago every week Monday-Thursday. I guess that’s not really traveling alone, because I was going to client sites and such. But, I did eat by myself at restaurants and bars, and flew alone, and stayed by myself in hotels, so I felt quite independent! I also traveled alone in Germany for a few days. So yeah, I guess I would have no problem traveling alone, but I would be a bit intimidated flying somewhere and spending over a week by myself. I’m an extrovert, so I get quite a bit of my energy from interacting with others.
What activities do you like to do alone?
Reading, editing photos, online shopping. Wow, I thought I’d be able to think of more things! I guess there are very few things that I enjoy doing alone more than with the Husband or close friends!
